Message with 4 bolts (normally). You can access them by removing the lower trans shield plate and rotating the crank pulley to move the bolts around to be accessed. I like to remove these and pull the converter with the trans, instead of wrestling the trans back 5-6 inches or more to clear input shaft. This way you pull back maybe an inch, and you can drop the trans.

When you install the new trans make sure the converter has the specified amount of ATF, and is fully seated on the input shaft. Sometimes it is keyed so you push it on, rotate, and the push further to seat it completely.

Install the trans, just need to stab the locating pins on the bell housing. Bolt the trans up, and then aline the converter and flexplate, reinstall the 4 bolts (rotate the crank pulley to move the bolts around to be accessed).
