The issue I've seen and come to conclusion is the cranks cross drilled rod journal pinwheels the oil which in turn doesn't keep oil on the bearing for a sufficient amount of time to keep the bearing in a survival state. The diagram you posted doesn't show the depiction correctly. We have two rods off the main oil feed as there are three main oil holes that intersect from the end of the crank off the main all the way through to both rods. After looking at this oil system for a while I came up with the modification to convert the system to a high speed oil system.
