Message the pics posted thus far show fatigue failure, and show very little bearing damage that would be caused by lubrication problems.

I think it is a harmonic issue caused by not running a dampened pulley. I've talked to Crower about this issue, and they believe that not running a dampener may be a huge contributing factor, if not the sole reason, for crank failure at the 1k RWHP level.

Are you sure your illustration of the domestic v-8 cross drilled oiling system is correct? Reher Morrison says that the rod feed hole intersects at the centerline of the crank, not how you show it.
