Message no...the oil hole is to cool the poor cast material down to alieviate the piston from melting under high heat conditions in the cylinder. Since the oil carries heat away from that area it is vital that the cast units have that oil hole under the piston deck. Forged units disapate heat quite well and are much more robust in nature due to their physical design and materials used. Keeping the oil squirters on the forged pistons not only furthers the cooling abilty of the oil to the piston but it also serves to ensure you keep your oil pressure from dropping out of its normal operating pressures.
