Message	I've noticed that pin to piston clearances are looser on aftermarket vs OEM, which would result in more relative movement between the pin and piston. Ideally, you would want the relative movement to occur between the pin and the rod bushing, since it is an actual bearing material. Have you verified that your honing of the pin bore actually results in less wear by tearing down an engine for inspection?
