for the projectz32.com board members to see because I couldn't have said it better myself LOL "What you guys and many others over here that are so enamored with AMS and their prices fail to recognize is that they are not innovators. They take products that people on tt.net have spent tons of time and money developing and they copy it. That is not innovation, it is replication. If it were not for Mike Smith, there would be no AMS manifolds, if it were not for 300 Degree there would be no AMS fuel rails or brake master cylinder brace, if it were not for Greg Dupree there would be no AMS subframe spacers, or split down pipes and then expansion downpipes. If it were not for Stillen there would be no oil cooler. There is not a single product AMS sells for the Z that they were the originator of. This does nothing but discourage future development of products. What will AMS sell and what will you buy when no one develops a new product for our aging cars for them to copy and sell as their own? I've seen the interest in the TwinZ difuser about to hit the market. How would you feel if you spent a ton of your money and time developing this product and AMS buys one and copies it and sells it for a few dollars less? Would you ever develop another product? Before you bash the attitude of tt.net, wake up and realize where these innovative products are coming from and how shortsighted it is to encourage a company develops none of the products they sell. If you think AMS developed these rails, ask for a single flow analysis performed by them or any engineer employed by them. Have them post up any information they have on how they developed them. Or you could just take a look at that crossover hose and see the poor quality stainless steel covering and the fake AN hose ends with worm screws. I know what I would rather have."
