My turbos had only 60K on them when one seized and the tubine broke off and ended up in the exhaust. After I bought the car I used Fram oil filters. After about 10k miles of Frams the turbo seized up. (3 oil changes) The previous owner always took it to a dealer. The Fram doesn't let the oil pressure build up at higher RPM. The pressure always stayed around 45 to 60 lbs by the stock gauge no matter what the RPM was. After all the repairs Alex, (Spyhunter) insisted on a Nissan oil filter. Switching to the Nissan oil filters caused the oil pressure to rise as the RPM did. Something I had never noticed before with the Fram. It was a costly lesson.
