The stock mounts last 10 years and work well with even HIGH HP and drag racing. They also isolate more noise and vibration. The stock mount also has a safety catch built in. Of course now that the cars are so old they will be in pieces on some cars if they are original..... I have worked on these cars since they were new and never saw bad stock mounts until the cars were 10 years old. I used stock mounts on my own car until the last build and only changed them because I was worried about hitting the hood with the direct port N20. I have since measured the pull against the mount with Jim Selin at the drag strip with a load sensor and was amazed how low the load was. When you get to INZANE power or want more room for larger turbos I would recommend the BDE mounts. The ford mounts are not the correct size and will cause stress on your exhaust as it causes a different angle and puts the exhaust in a bind. The same goes for the NISMO trans mount.....They sit higher and the exhaust hangers for the mid pipes are a lot higher on the mounts. The NISMO mount was made for the 240sx and they never made one for the Z32. I only recommend stock trans mounts and I still have stock on my drag car.
