Message	through the crankcase and remove not only harmful fumes but also moisture? If that's completely eliminated and just left to the CC area to passively force excess pressure out, that won't really result in removing the harmful moisture etc will it? I can see an advantage to modifying it if the car is tracked, so to me the reroute looks like the most viable option if anything so it still functions.
