Message	I pulled this stuff off of this website [ http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=4766389005 ] Colin Steele McRae, MBE (born August 5, 196 was a Scottish World Rally Championship driver, the son of five-time British Rally Champion, Jimmy McRae and older brother of professional driver Alister McRae. He won the world driver's title in 1995, was championship runner-up in 1996, 1997 and 2001, and third in 1998. He helped Subaru to the Manufacturers' title in 1995, 1996 and 1997, and Citroën in 2003. He was appointed MBE (Member of the Order of British Empire) by Queen Elizabeth II in 1996. IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMD COLIN McRAE(39) WAS KILLED IN A HELICOPTER CRASH ALONG WITH HIS SON JOHNNY McRAE(5), BEN PORCELLI(6) AND COLINS OLD SCHOOL FRIEND GRAEME DUNCAN(37). THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED JUST AFTER 4pm ON SATURDAY THE 15th OF SEPTEMBER 2007 THEY WILL ALL BE SADLY MISSED. COLIN WAS A HERO AND GREAT INSPIRATION FOR MANY.
