| Message | efficient and I would not recommend running that high on a regular basis, but we're talking about short runs at the strip. Even if a turbo is out of it's efficiency range it's still can make more power(though not a lot more), but when it comes to the strip, traction, weight, and power make a difference no matter how minimal. Not only will the increase in boost allow power gains but the race gas used allows more timing which will increase power gains. Plus if you use Q16 race gas which is oxygenated, the the power will increase even more. These power increases would not be possible on pump gas with stock turbos on a 2.5" system and they will be even better on a 3" system. The only car that I can think of that has made 400whp on stock turbos and pump is spongerider but he has a different engine management system (the power fc I believe.) Can you name or provide a link to one? I haven't seen one but there are a lot of things I haven't seen and I'm always up for new information.
