so i did this because i've always wanted a clean/shiny/impressive looking engine bay...and because i needed a winter project to keep me busy...my inspiration was def Luis (300twinz) thanks go out to Luis for doing all the chrome work and shipping everything back and forth to me in Chicago...other notable thank yous go to Daryl (awesome-o) who did my timing covers and fan shroud (i esp appreciate finishing it up on super short notice last week for that photoshoot--now that's what i call coming through in the clutch); Daryl has been awesome in helping me out with this project...let's see, also Eric (spdrmn15) for helping me solve a few issues after i finished the plenum pull in April...he has got to be the most thoughtful and selfless fellow Z'er i've ever met the project is mostly done, but it's never 'TRULY' done...the timing covers and throttle cover still need to be wetsanded (you will be able to see why in some pics)...and Daryl is actually going to re-do the fan shroud as well...in addition, i still need to move some lines around to make it less cluttered, just clean up a little more, and it needs a few more finishing touches...but it's just about done for the most part... here is one before pic and then the after pics
thank you to Pat for these
and thanks to Brad for these
