| Either way I would not be comfortable without having an alignment shop setting as the baseline. But for driving around as I was adding parts and changing wheels, it gave me the confidence to know that I was not scuffing up the new tires or causing irreversible wear patterns. We posted about this a few weeks ago. Members linked to all kinds of backyard old-school methods to set the alignment. I think playing around with this kind of garage basics is a good way to learn about suspension dynamics and alignment settings. In the long run, it is still basic wheel/tire/road geometries. gordo
