Message	Chances are they were getting ready for boost, lowering the compression by a head gasket will work but.... you change the angle of the burn from the spark plug and can cause hot spots in the pistons ect. Seen it a 100 times on a bunch of differnt cars. its the "budget" way of lowering compression.
