Well 3 head gaskets destroyed so far in one build. Sucks but Im making sure this goes right. Very hard when your doing a rebuild with the motor in the car. The first two went when I had to take the heads off to fix threads and the third just got fudded up yesterday when i found out that its best sometimes to do things yourself. Had a friend help me place in the head and the waste gate arm lock pin ended up digging into the gasket. So with one left today I decided to sit the head on first (mind you turbos and everything is on and its heavy) and then I lifted it up about 2 or 3 inches allowing my girl friend to place the gasket in there o so gently and sat it down perfectly. I then did the gradual 3 step torquing sequence 6 times as is suggested with APR studs (studs are so sexy). Anyway I just ordered 2 new gaskets from Coz (one for luck) and put them on next day air (expensive). So I hope to have them by tuesday or if im really lucky early monday (live in the bahamas so i wait extra long usually two weeks with ground shipping). If all works out Ill be done with the build by the end of the month at most. Here are some pics for fun.
