If you look at the web page where they sell this kit, it gives simple information on how to measure to determine the size spacers needed. When I was at Z1, having other services performed on my car, I told John that I wasn't sure which spacers I needed and I asked if I should measure them myself or if he could do it, since my car was already in the shop, up on a lift. He said that he would look at it and tell me which spacers I needed. Later, he told me that I needed 5 mm spacers. I asked if he was sure and I explained how I really didn't want to do my brakes and get stuck because I had the wrong spacers. I also said something about the fact that I'd like to spend as little as possible, but I'd also rather spend money now instead of getting stuck later. He told me that he had looked at my car and that I should be fine with the 5 mm spacers and no extended studs. If he had simply made it clear that he had not taken the 30 seconds required to actually measure the distance, I would have done it myself or at least, declined to purchase the kit. If I had ordered off the website, it would absolutely have been my fault if I had ordered the wrong spacers. But that's not what happened. I relied on the opinion of someone who works at a shop that services many Z32s and builds and installs many of these kits. It would have been very easy for them to measure and sell me the correct spacers. If that's too much to ask, someone from Z1 should have made this clear before taking my money.
