So a guy offers me $300 for the used 5 speed tranny I have for sale, shipped to CA. I say ok, going to cost me $150 to ship and time\money to pallet it, so not like I am going to make anything. Then he wants a written guarantee that there are no issues with the tranny. I politely tell him that is a deal breaker, I am not going to guarantee any 16 year old trans with the known issue on synchros. Then he emails back "so you were trying to sell me a broken tranny?" I tell him to go buy a 98 spec tranny, leave me alone. Am I the a-hole here? Half the stuff I sale I give away after shipping and bullshit running around. Some dude just sold me a part, did not get right amount for shipping so I had to pay $11 to pick it up, I split the difference with him. Then I find out that I have to order more parts to replace the wrong pieces he sent to me. Trying to be a nice guy. F**k it, anyone want a used trans free, come pick the piece of shit up and get it out of my garage. Guy just emailed me back...not sure if he is going to rebuild or what...showed me a link to a post on 300zxclub.com. Go back over there, lol. John
