Message in domestic applications, so I don't really feel it's all that necessary to verify how long one will live on a VG30.

CSR recommends replacing the pump motor after 3500 hours of daily use. If you average 20mph during driving, this equates to 70,000 miles... not much different than the stock pump.

The seal is easily DIY replaced if it should go out.

One other noteworthy aspect is that they are built with R/F reducing circuitry to eliminate ignition interference.
