| I can appreciate the work you're putting into this and I can see some additional useful features that would fall under the "nice to have" categories that are not in NDS. Here's my short list as well as suggestions that would help me and I'm sure others that do a lot of diagnostic work on Zs 1) Touch screen compatibility 2) A/C and heater diag 3) HICAS diag 4) ABS diag (getting to the box just to check the codes is a pita) I recall reading a post from Ash years ago regarding using an eeprom and having the ability to rewrite the chips from within the ecu. Somehow he had schematics of the ecu along with the consult protocol and found a command that "in theory" could be used for rewriting the chip while the car was running. However, as we know now, he decided to go a different route with his zemulator rig.
Have you ran into compatibility issues between different interface cables? I'd be surprised if you did as it only acts as a means of translating rs232 bits to the correct wires and voltages that the ecu can understand. The actual messages going across the wire should be the same regardless of the interface (one might think)
