The two I referenced are on jacks stands during the summer for brake work more often than most cars see during their entire service lifetime. I spent nearly $1,500 on brake pads alone last summer. I took "that's why you should cut them before installing new pads" to mean at every pad change and that radial rotor wear was common place. A simple misunderstanding.
