I use the term test pipes for straight pipes with nothing added, no cats, no resonators, for "racing" use only, no chance of passing emissions. I guess you call these test pipes with resonators. Or mid-pipes with resonators instead of cats. The term "mid-pipes" means the presence of cats to me, either stock or high flow cats. After awhile, it's just semantics. I had not seen this mutation of pipes before.
