A parts car is a parts car...as is the case with a project car. I would estimate it at $1K max for the right person, and maybe $1200 if the interior were really nice. But run it on Ebay for example, and it may not pull a grand (but feel free to prove me wrong). As a rule, any Z that runs OK all around, but looks like hell is a $2K car. Any non-running NA in anything less than super clean cosmetic shape usually brings $500-1500. These are the guidelines I would work with when pricing it. FWIW, I have seen some of the rare ones bring shocking money....for example a non-running yet absolutely mint 90 pearl yellow car brought $2900 in ATL a month or so ago...but this car looked like it was 2 years old and only had 70K. Chances are it had just sat in a estate or something, and gummed up. BTW, if the mileage on your car is not accurate, then in most states the car will have a bad title...or will come back with one after being turned in. That being the case, it probably wouldn't be worth any more than $2000 even if it is was turn key clean. Most people won't buy a car with a "bad mileage title", banks won't loan on them, etc. But this would only make a minor difference in a parts car scenario, yet slightly more in a project car sale. Soapbox: gotta love those NA pop chargers, lol...they suck water, ruin AFM's, and rob the car of torque at low rpms...even though they "might" add a couple hp at some point on the RPM band one never uses, lol. I just don't get it...Z's, are not Civics.
