| hey, i have a 90 twin turbo. it has a jdm motor in it with an automatic transmision(5spd in process). stage 3, boost controller, intake, full 2.5 exaust, ecu on 16psi. my goal for my z is around low 5's to the wheels and i will be satisfied. mods i am buying are as followed: sport 600s 740cc injectors duals intake upgraded smic's (not sure which brand as of yet) full 2.5 exaust (3inch if it makes that much of a diff.) 1pc driveshaft all ud pulleys built bottom end w/ stock heads My post is about motor work. i have another jdm motor that is good condition with good compression. i want to disasemble it and build the block. leave the heads stock for liability. i know a local thats very good at machining. i can assemble it with a friend. questions are: what am i looking at buying to have a reliable bottom end with the sport 600s? what exactly is needed to purchase parts wise? also what machining should i ask the machine shop to do (good condition block already)? i know low 5's could be made wihtout motor work but i would rather continue driving z with this motor as a stage 3 and put all mods on the other motor alltogther. since its not in car im better off putting rods piston an bearing ect. im just not sure on what exactly to buy for the reliable and what to ask the machine shop to do to the block. not looking for a monster build. im turning 20 and have another dailly so im going to let me z dream begin lol. eventually ill just buy a set of heads wiht head work done an cams on it already. thanks for any responses,
