Message Ummm, what? I did it because I like how it looks. Low and flush look good IMO. Not just because other people did it. 285s are pretty square on the 10.5. I can't see how it can be called small at all. In no way do I consider the 285 stretched on the 10.5.

I don't see how this is stretched or considered small for a 10.5. Please enlighten me.

For my Z I'll do a slight stretch, which I currently am running, in order to fit something I consider flush. Granted, I won't go as extreme as a 240, since I think the Z does need a decent amount of tire. But IMO, extreme tire stretches are just to make a low offset wheel fit. Aesthetic purposes only. Kinda like why girls wear high heels. It's all for looks. I think a slight stretch has a slight performance benefit, but once you go into the extreme case, it's not for performance at all.
