Message Thanks to all that came out and for everyone's support!
Really enjoyed meeting the AZ guys!!!
Sorry we could not provide a better show with new best times :-/
I have learned that making changes does not always go in the right direction.
We made some changes to the suspension and they ended up causing traction issues about 30 to 40 feet into the run.
The launches were better, but the tires were unloading after the launch.
I modified some American drag shocks to fit my Z and also installed softer springs in the front in a effort to transfer more weight to the rear. This made for a better hole shot, but the softer spring allowed the car to come back down quicker and caused the rear to get less weight as the power came on fairly soon after the launch and every run I was blowing away the tires about 30 feet into the run :-(
We even had this issue on slicks.
The soft rebound works for launching, I just need to put stiffer front springs back in and tighten up the compression on the front shocks.
The track prep seem to be lacking, but as bad as the traction issues were I started thinking about the changes and realized what was happening made since with the changes and I am pretty sure I can sort this out.
We also wanted to try running the N20 all the way through....We tried this on one pass and it was missing right away so I had to lift and after checking the logs, we found we were out of fuel and need a larger second pump and I just ordered it.
Soooo I will be making the needed corrections and hope to get out again soon for another shot at running 8's!

Thanks again everyone!!!!!
