Ok, here's the deal. Originally I replaced my rear diff bushings with solids, it felt like being nixit, having gear whine was cool and all, but for the first months. Since then I replaced my diff with a 60K mile diff and went with ES urethane bushings, so no more solids. I also have SPL urethane subframe bushings. However, I still have that loud gear whine, I assume it's coming from the tranny since it has seen better days, but am curious if anyone experiencing the same and replaced a tranny (due to whatever reason) had the whine go away? I dynamated my whole interior (to minimize the noise not to cure the problem, lol) it works great, but aparently not with high frequency noises like gear whine. any clues what it could be? I also have the z1 platinum DS, tranny mount is new OEM.
