I think it would be hard for people to say if it's worth it. Some people who have poured lots of $$$ into their cars are happy they did. Others wish they would have bought the car modded the way they wanted and save a lot of money and time in the process. In the end it's all up to you. I would suggest only doing as much as you can afford to and not getting impatient, trying to get everything done quickly, and maybe getting in over your head. Also, if you don't do the work yourself find a good local mechanic. Lastly, I think 400whp is plenty. Is 500-600 really necessary?
