i broke mine in slow. i didn't keep to the rules you posted. but i didn't boost more than about 5. and never got on it hard in any gear, just cruised home, (which was freeways for 90 miles) but changed gears, and accelerated, and decelerated using the engine. i changed the oil at 500, then 1000, then another 1000. and now i'm ad about 4500 miles. runs well! no leaks, no eating of any oil that i can tell, however it is smoking a bit, i don't think its related tho.
