| It seems foolish to schedule and pay for two track events within one week of each other. (I can hear the die-hards saying "you can never have track days too close to each other"). I would think it will stretch the club's resources to the limit to schedule the Z Fest and the other track event within a week of each other. On the other hand, if the Z Fest was held by some other club in another location (not near Denver I presume), what would the impact be on your club's track event that following weekend? I think it boils down to either combining Z Fest and the club's track event the weekend after Labor Day or perhaps the club should politely decline the offer. Also - how does this stack up with ZCON '09? Is that scheduled for Oct next year? I wonder if that might become a time/financial stretch for some folks to work in two major events like that in a relatively short span of time. Anyway, I don't know if I was able to offer any helpful insight. But I tried. :) Good luck with this challenge. Dave
