| By far, I prefer developing in it over PHP. Unfortunately it's slow for Webservers to catch on, but it's been gaining significant marketplace in the last year or so. Just recently I was forced to use PHP because a customer of mine didn't want to spend extra for the server capable of ASP.NET. I hated every minute of development, and it made me realize that I don't want to do it again. I would suggest you look in the direction of ASP.NET as well.
