Message Massive sales aren't in the US forecast. Unless they can squeeze out 30 mpg's or higher and about 5k off the pricetag, sales aren't going to be through the roof. People do care about looks, second or so to value and gas mileage. Current value of the 350Zs isn't looking to healthy.

GM and Ford's future are going the way of Crossovers and small vehicles with high mpgs thanks to new government mandates as are alot of Automotive Companies. This next ten or so years is going to be the last hoorah for sportscars with some balls and semi-good looks. This is why I'm keeping my timeless looking Z32 and driving it as a reminder of all the new hideous encarnations their are out there and yet to come.

I agree, that that other internet design looked better than the new edition of the Z. I'm sure if you put the next Z design into the hands of real enthusiasts (like myself) we could come up with something that would be great looking and modern. But with a French Automaker's influence, great design and cutting edge innovation isn't in the books for "The New Nissan". Unless you count a Supercar with a bulky look and a 20K transmission that leaves the owner to chance actually driving it for what it was meant to do.
