Message however, it sounds like you know most of what you are looking for already. But it is going to be difficult for people to advise you given that you haven't stated goals for the car - power or use, etc. That will play a large factor in what is recommended (i.e. 555's vs. 740's, etc.)

I would suggest searching each individual component, as there have been numerous debates when it comes to brands. If you are still confused on an issue, then you might post about that specific part in question.

Glad to hear most of the maintenance is out of the way, but don't forget to budget for other small things.

IMO stick with top-tier brands, but you can save some money by not wasting your money on BOV's as well as buying megan down/test pipes. You are sure to hear some people chime in about fitment issues, but mine went up fine and I don't personally know anyone who has had these issues either. This doesn't mean the problem doesn't exists in some instances, however. If you absolutely must have BOV's, I like my HKS SSQV's for what they are - they have a good design for handling low and high boost applications, and I have heard good things about Blitz as well. I must admit, they are a total waste of money for most purposes though.

Besides the test/downpipes/catback, most other eBAY parts (intercoolers, etc) are garbage from what I have read.
