Message Autowerks up here in Chicago invited ChicagoZ out to their annual bbq and open house yday...i found out about it very late but decided to go, i'm glad i did...

the owner and her dog...she is the president of the Lambo club in chicago

these GTR guys have been coming out recently...really cool guys...

the owner of Autowerk's daily driver Lambo...he said is about to do an in house TT setup on it

TT g35...put out 950 hp to the wheels according to them...the paint on this thing was specatacular...it was a crazy pearl, had to see it in person

a customer's damaged R8 in the shop

a pair of VERY fast modded Z06's

this car belongs to a Chicago Bear...they do a lot of cars for pro players and celebs...they did Lance Briggs' Lambo LP640 that was in that famous crash when he abandoned it in the middle of the night a while ago

this shop was HUGE...had some amazing cars and do amazing work...i was very impressed...they do body work, custom audio/video, performance work...just about everything

i can't believe the owner had this "Rambo Lambo"...it's a Lambo SUV from the late 80's...only like 300 ever made...i remember hearing about this a while back, but never seen one in person...it was ugly as hell, but just the idea is pretty cool...still must be worth a pretty penny b/c it's so rare...it has a Countach engine and he started it up for us, sounded sweet though...i think Lambo might bring something like this back

one of my car...

i had an awesome time...but the car scene is winding down now in Chicago since winter is lurking...right now is about the BEST boosting weather you can imagine...the air is nice and chilly...and i wish i had a pic of it, but i went to see a car out in the boonies yday (i'm trying to buy a DD for the winter) and i paid $3.05 for Shell 93 octane yday...i was in shock and filled up when i didnt need to...then i went into the city yday to see Texas whoop mizzou yday (Hook 'Em!), and it was $4.41 near downtown...go figure
