Something else is wrong. If you press the pedal, the car will slow, but not quickly. If you press it, let it up, then immediately press it again, it bites harder and the pedal doesn't travel as far. I suspected master cylinder, but I can push the pedal all day long and it won't go to the floor. Maybe air in the lines? Search says there are as many people hating on HPS as MM. Maybe more. I know you are a huge proponent of Hawk pads, but there seem to be as many stories about people using them and going back to MM because they hated the HPS. The only thing anyone agrees on is that BBK's are cool. That's why I was hoping to find a softer rotor. If they wear out sooner that's fine, so long as I can stop the car.
