ideally i would have a bike for routine transport, a motorcycle for swift around town trips, the z as a weekend track/autox/mountains toy, small truck/suv for snow/roadtrips/whatever. Ideally mind you, this is not my garage. the money you save in gas/upkeep you could actually afford to own a few cars. i currently ride my bike just about everywhere and i drive my z maybe once a week. i now live in a bigger city with no mountains in my backyard so i dont really see the point in driving the car. if i drive 5k this year i will be surprised. and to directly answer your question, anyone selling a z or any other sports car for a prius(or any other more "practical" car) to save gas money is dim, a sports car is a simple pleasure in life, walk your ass to work and enjoy your car and life a bit more. i however would trade my z for a cbr 600rr,if quickly followed by a 914 project car purchase.
