| I've read tons and tons of facts and opinions on Deatschwerks vs Nismo injectors on this site and others so I'm not going to make another thread about them, but more specifically about the DW adapters for new pintless injectors in old style fuel rails. Z1 just listed a kit new this month with nismo injectors, 6 new style clips and the DW adapters for old style fuel rails and plenums which has been occupying my mind for the past few days. I've heard the DW adapters make the injector sit up higher, but dont know how that will really effect things. Basically I'd like to know what peoples opinions are, preferably with the reasoning behind it on these adapters. I usually end up spending more money than I need to on my Z because I'm terrified that cheaper = inferior and I dont want something that's not going to last. the 300degree rails, SZ SS line kit, and 6 injectors is around $1300 and the Z1 kit is in the $900 neighborhood. Using DW instead of Nismo injectors would shave even more off the price. Which do you think is the better value in the sense that buying cheap crap and having to replace it a year later is not really a good value? Are there any performance issues with the DW adapters? Extra heat soak etc? Thanks in advance, unless you make a prickish remark in which case no thanks for you!
