Message	The restrictor is there to maintain a constant pressure. If you take out the restrictor, you will notice about a 3-4 psi drop in your oil pressure. Since I ran all custom lines with my B&M cooler, I had no restrictor. What I did was shim the sping on the oil pump to increase the oil pressure just a little bit. You can put in another restictor say if you are using braided lines or something, but I havent been able to find the size restrictor needed.
