| Last month I posted my frustration over a lengthly and multiple visit upgrade at Z1. I received a lot of great advice in response. Thanks to all, especially John Parham at Z1. John informed me that Z1 will now build the motor back up from scratch (about a week into the build now I imagine) to exactly what THEY wanted it to be the very first time. By the way, like Russell stated, it's on Z1's dime-something that probably is rare among performance shops these days. Furthermore, the build will go in-house by the same guys that bore the Flagship Z capable of 1051 RWHP & gettin' sideways at 90mph (didn't see it, but believe it). Like I said in my post, I was generally only upset with the timeline. I know the guys at Z1 will deliver on their promise to make it right. I fully expect to burn off any remaining rubber on the rear tires when I pick up the car in early November. Hoping for 600+ at the wheels. I am so tired of the local PCA Z06 owners talking smack about their whiskey delta rides. Can't wait to introduce them to the my rear view mirror. Time to fly, Smooth out.
