I seem to have a problem with my new PTU, the one that was issued after recall. My hypothesis is that a loose common ground for my coil packs caused high voltage to either surge back into my PTU, or perhaps caused voltage to sit and heat up, eventually frying the whole unit. I swapped it out in a friends car, and his did the same thing as mine, cranked but would not start. I am confident that it is the PTU, but I was wandering if anyone had a source for a cheaper part, i cant seem to find anything under 180, i don't care if it is used, these things are supposed to be invincible(if grounded properly :P) I am really broke from my rebuild and i need to either wait a month to get paid, or find a cheaper alternative, i can solder and perhaps repair the damage, if someone knows how to work with the new ones. please help!Jason 1990 NA 300zx Fully Rebuilt from the block up
