Message	not rocket science. The Straman convertibles have more under chassie bracing than the stock factory convertibles anyway. Your comparison to a TT swap is flawed, since most times when people do a TT swap they don't do it exactly like the factory anyway. It would be foolish to do a TT swap with a lot of the OEM parts such as the EGR or the precats. I have nightmares about that happening...I'd be the poor bastard you'd hear about on the news that gets killed by a softball-size chunk while spreading out my body over the hood and screaming "Nooo!"
