and if it's just the crank-seal, well then there's no need to pull the oil-pump. If it is the oil-pump, and you go at it with the motor in the car, you'll still need to support the motor from above while the car is on the lift. I imagine something going across the strut-towers could be used to keep the motor from falling out the bottom once the front sub-frame is dropped. I was working in my drive-way, and I figured it would be easier to put the motor on a stand. Keep us posted, and if you go that route, document the process if you can.
