Message	If the bolt that connects the shift lever to the shift linkage is too tight it will feel very stiff and 'notchy' as you describe. I like to use a nyloc nut on it and just barely snug it up. That being said, I've only used Tim's (silvertwin) SS Kits and never had an issue. boostpro.net
