Message I bon ami'd the rear windshield of my car about 4 days ago, and I was thinking about doing the t-tops next. I took them off (first time I've taken them off since I've had the car, previous owner said they'd never been taken off, but they slid right off no problem) and set them on carpet in the garage.

I was just concerned that for some reason, the bon ami might scratch the t-top glass. I did my entire rear windshield to great success (to remove all the rain spots), and now it looks slick except for a small part in the middle I didn't scrub as much that I need to go back and do.

So, sorry for the long winded post, but my question is basically concerning whether the t-top glass is durable enough to resist the scratches that can be caused by a very fine "scrub" and bon ami?

Thanks tt.net :)

Hopefully I'll have some pictures soon, I plan on going to a couple places I've scouted out in town to take some pictures of it :)

And also, because I rarely post, I can't begin to express the joy I get from driving it. I try not to drive it as much when I come home, but I find myself going out more and more, and I took my first drive with the t-tops off today, and I just feel like the luckiest guy around.

11,382 miles at the time of this writing :) I've almost put 700 miles on her (300 or so of which was the journey after buying it haha)

Long winded indeed...sigh...thanks tt.net'ers.
