My Z is getting the provincial inspection tomorrow *(B.C) are the shops normally an*l during the inspections? the car is almost 20 years old, its out to have a few quirks etc.. I just hope they dont ask me to rebuild the whole car right there and then, lol. As far as I can tell ( I just bought it and brought it over from the us ) lights, horns, brakes, tranny, suspencions, steering , ball joints etc appear to be in good shape. The windows are not cracked. What do they look for? what if a light is burned out eg, the seatbelt light etc.. do they fail the car for just a lightbulb?
