Message I did sleep at a Holiday Inn last night. Just kidding

I've been around in the car world for a while, and while I've never taken on the task on of re-upolstering seats I've seen it done.

The only place I added a layer of foam was on the drivers side bolster that gets all the wear. It really wasn't necassary but since my particular seats bolster foam was starting to wear a little I added the layer. I'll state now that the TUNER D seat covers are very well constructed with the added foam layer already attached to all the areas that require it the same as OEM.

When I removed the factory covers and was preparing to install the new ones I noted that the bolster foam was worn slightly. So I took my exacto knife and from the OEM cover I sliced the center back portion of foam and removed it from the cover. I then layed it over the bolster and tucked it in trimming what was not needed away. This was the only additional faom added and really it's negligable in that the foam is only 1/4" thick and not that firm. It just slightly added to the bolster for a little support.
