PLEASE READ! Well today is probably the most depressing/worst day of my life. After 3 months I finally got my car down to an Infiniti dealership a few miles away where my friend said I could use the lift and he would help me put it together in his bay on his day off. Get down there after waiting an hour for AAA, than having to pay 140$ to get it towed there because the transmission was out (bullshit). We got the tranny, driveshaft, etc. hooked in great. Everything was so perfect I thought. We got everything in the bay hooked up. Primed the oil pump 3 clicks. Turned the key and heard some tapping, nothing major just took us some time to figure it out. Car was running though, keep that in mind. Turn it on again and hear a "WHACK!", loud as hell. Built bottom end with JE Pistons and Eagle rods and I'm 99% sure I just had a piston smack the piss out of my valves on the drives side. I bought the motor from a customer of Ben@ZCreations. The motor was never run and was built properly but had sat for 2-3 years. Something tells me it wasnt primed enough and the drives side cam didnt have enough lubrication and totally fubared everything... I'm dissapointed. I've spent hours on this car, but I can't give up yet. I'm out 4000$ @ 19 years old and am going to start back at day one. I was offered a trade through a friend with a 90 TT that needs paint. Has a JSpec nose. Just was rebuilt with stock internals all around. He said I could have every mod I have in the car but the turbos, DP's, BOV's, and SMIC's. I bought my 95 TT for 6300$ and have put 4000$ or more into it so far. What should I do guys? I think I'm going to just pull it out again, replace (hopefully) one piston and get a valve job. I dont know the carnage yet but maybe in a few weeks I will. Just a little sad that after all this time, money, work, effort, etc. that this is how it has turned out. Just looking for some advice. Oh yea, if you have 7000$ take a look at my mod list and I will sell it for that. -Breece
