I realize you are frustrated, but I do not feel that this was the best method to handle it or try to get action. I haven't received any communication from you recently and John told me that you were in the loop with what was going on and ok. The issue with the car is something we've never run across, and has taken an excessive amount of time to firmly diagnose. We've been working with it this week and are doing the best we can to try to postively insure there are no more problems. Our shop is undoubtedly usually over booked while understaffed, but please realize that your car was taken down with-in the first week after it arrived. The remaining time elapsed has been due to a machine shop relocation, machinist vacations, discussions and testing regarding the actual problem etc. Please remember that last time you were here and we talked, that I let you know that we had put as many miles on the car as possible (several hundred) and that we wanted you to go out and drive it until you were satisfied (before heading home). We honestly all felt that the everything was 100%. I'm deeply sorry that it apparently was not, but due to the nature of the issue that was impossible for us to forsee. There is obviously no malicious intent here to cause you problems or inconvenience. We are handling the issues at very considerable cost to us, which is more than can be said for the majority of performance shops out there. I'm sorry it is taking as long as it is, but we aren't going to take any chances this time around.
