I'll just buy at the regular price when it comes time. It's too bad people want to buy an inferior product just to save a few bucks. The Imports Extreme product is far superior to any others offered. It's really a shame. Let me give you a piece of advice as well. When running these group buys, it's better to not advertise the current level because there are so many people that will only get in at a certain price point. It's better to handle it through e-mail or phone calls and really gather all the info from all the potential buyers. Honestly, there could be 5 other people like me that don't mind paying full price at a later time (closer to when I'd install the product which would probably next spring), but would buy if the price savings was substantial. If you can gather that kind of info, that will REALLY gauge the interest. When people see 1 person signed up for a particular product, they just figure it's never going to hit any substantial discount and they go into hiding. But it doesn't mean they aren't interested at the right price. I certainly would have bought a trim kit at 15-25% off. I'm sure I'm not the only one. You're basically asking people to commit at only a 5% discount guaranteed. It's hard to get the group buy off the ground. It's better to just talk to people on the phone and say, "I have 7 people interested at 15%...should I add you to the list?" Then if it hits 15%, you know that those people will sign up. Right now, you have no clue how many people are actually interested. I bet it's a bit more than you think.
