you are being charged dimensional weight instead of actual weight because of the space the body kit takes up on a truck or plane. Like if you were to ship popcorn, it weighs near nothing but the space it takes up is greater than its actual weight, so you're charged dimensional weight for the space you are taking up. Plus ground fuel is at like 15% and plane fuel is at like 35%. Ground is the cheapest and they are going to do it like this ((lengthXwidthXheight)/194)= if this number is greater than weight of your body kit weighs which Im sure it is than your going to pay dimensional weight. Thats why the cost is so high. Try freight carriers like Roadway and Yellow transportation you can put it on a pallet as well to see what their costs are. Better yet do not put a full body kit on the Z, you are going to make it fugly especially a wings west one. The car is so beautiful as it is. If anything go jdm front bumper or stick to stillen front and side skirts at worse. Dont stray away from the Z roots in order for it to look like an alien spaceship.
