...AutoX is fun if you run the larger courses catering to high horsepower cars - i.e. Mather Field in Sacramento & the Atwater course down towards Merced are both held at military air strips. They use a lot of asphalt when they lay out those courses...w/ some long straights. You can reach speeds of 80 to 100mph autocrossing!!! The smaller venues are okay, but you rarely get out of second gear, and if so, only for a moment. A prime example is anything held at the Stockton fairgrounds. Personally, I have much more fun road coursing w/ my set-up. I think you can go either way on your choice though :-)
